Courses

Current course programs include CompTIA Cloud Essentials, Virtualization Essentials, and CSA cloud security (CCSK). For more information go to Cloud Courses . He has delivered these courses in North-America, Europe, Gulf Region, and Asia to international audiences, enabling his students to become recognizably competent in cloud computing. Students have come from organizations such as ING bank, ABN AMRO bank, Ernst & Young, KPN, GDIT, CompTIA, Accenture, Rackspace, and many other smaller firms and government organizations.

His 30+ years of experience includes projects focusing on developing and managing digital infrastructures, both for public administration and industry. He has worked for Deloitte consulting, IT supplier EDS, internet providers, and at the University of Twente, where he received his Ph.D. in 1988. He is also a regular columnist in Computable magazine and writes for CircleID.

He is chairman of the dutch Computer Measurement Group (NLCMG), a non-profit professional society, and member of the Dutch IPv6 task-force. In the past he has been part of various national and international standardization committees.
