About Peter van Eijk

Digital Infrastructures is the main business entity of Peter HJ van Eijk.

Peter HJ van Eijk is an independent consultant on management of cloud computing and other digital infrastructures, as well as a speaker, teacher and writer.

His projects focus on developing and managing digital infrastructures, both for public administration and industry. He has worked for Deloitte consulting, IT suppliers EDS, internet providers, and at the University of Twente, where he received his Ph.D. in 1988. He is also a regular columnist in Computable magazine and writes for CircleID.

He is chairman of the dutch Computer Measurement Group, a non-profit professional society, and member of the Dutch IPv6 task-force. In the past he has been part of various national and international standardization committees.
